Southwest  Airlines Now Departs From Fort LauderdaleAruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) welcomed the first passengers on the inauguration flight from Southwest  Airlines from Fort.Lauderdale.It was just last year that Southwest announced that they will be changing their departure from Orlando to a new gateway in Fort Lauderdale.According to the airline, the change will benefit travelers on a connection flight from New York, Boston and the north east.As of March 8, 2018 Southwest will be operating daily out of Fort Lauderdale.  Virus-free. www.avg.com
